Hi,all!
i use new DVD2SVSD ver.1.0.9
after succesfully Riping and Encode DVD_82min/AC3,
comes window from bbMPEG and say:
"an audio stream filename must be running settings"
wenn i push OK,bbMPEG will be opening window:
"MPEG Output settings" its correct!,but if i want open:
Open AS1
or
Open AS2
then bbMPEG will immediately droped down,i do not understand,
why settings by bbMPEG,at all, must be being made?
why DVD2SVCD programm make this not automaticly?
What is my next steps to get work bbMPEG with my Extracted_audio_1.ac3
please any idea?
Thanks

So you are trying to Mux the AC3 stream yourself?
or
Is DVD2SVCD stopping at BBmpeg and you have to force it to continue?
Normally the files muxed are .mp2 and .mpv not .ac3 unless you are making an ac3 video. If this is what you are doing I don't know how much help we can be here. Not many people do that here as it won't work on most DVD players.
just a little confused as to what you are doing.
I was just reading the BBmpeg manual and nowhere can I find that it says it will mux ac3 audio. Are you sure it does?

yes,DVD2SVCD after decoding process is stoped and give a windows
with "an audio stream filename must be running settings"
then,
wenn i push OK, avi2mpg2.exe will be opening window:
"in MPEG Output settings, there is 2 options for audio":
Open AS1
or
Open AS2
in this 2 options i cant open anything, becouse bbmpeg will immediately droped down!
I have made now that way: opened avi2mpg2.exe separately and by option "Open AS1" put "Extracted_audio_1.ac3"-file that all!
avi2mpg2.exe will creating 2 bbMPEG_Muxed_File.mpg
now its problem to me,how can i use Recover-Option in DVD2SVCD for creating Cue and Bin files???
Thanks
cccp
PS.
Wenn i open Recover-Option,will only
appearing "Muxing Cutting" and wenn i start this option, will
2 bbMPEG_Muxed_File.mpg files, which was created separetly,DELETED.

ccc_P relax. Don't post like this.
I don't know how many people here can help you. This is not done often. It will not play in almost all DVD players.
I fear there is nobody here that can answer you question.
Maybe you should look in the DVD section since what you are trying to do is more like a Mini-DVD then an SVCD.

No, AC3 is not possible in SVCD. What's possible (as per the SVCD spec) is multichannel mpeg. However, not a lot of players will play this, and even if your player does, you have to find Digital amplifier that will decode the multichannel mpeg. I do not of any current devices doing this.
If you must have AC3, go for miniDVD and get a player that supports it (only a few do, like some Sampo models).

This came to me via a PM from a member who couldn't post yet.
I had exactly the same problem with 1.0.9. I found that if I uninstalled 1.0.8 from Add/Remove Programs, then deleted any extra files in the install directory, then did a fresh install of 1.0.9, the problem was fixed. I don't think it's necessary, but I also removed any reference to DVD2SVCD from the registry, but I didn't see where there was anything really related stored in the registry.
Hope this helps,
