I have captured a multisegment avi file using Virtualdub and obviously want to convert to SVCD.

How can I convert this?

This is what I have tried.

1. Loading the first segment of the file, the "go" button can be activated. However this only encodes the first segment

2. I then try to get Virtualdub to frameserve and load the vdr file into DVD2SVCD. In this instance, I cannot start the conversionprocess - the "go" button cannot be activated. I attempt this because virtualdub loads all the multisegment file at once.

Is there a way of getting DVD2SVCD to recognise all segments of the multisegmented avi file or is the only option to load the segments one by one and encode them and then join them??

I have tried the methods in the thread. I get the same problem ie. after converting to a file called combine_avs-vfapi.avi, when I load this into DVD2SVCD, the "go" button cannot be activated. It does not look as if DVD2SVCD will accept a "served" file??

Anyone else who does multisegment capture encounter the same problem??

Indeed, it doesn't accept a frameserved file. However there's one exception:

... --> AviSynth --> Link2 (see news: 5/10) --> DVD2SVCD 1.0.9b2
