Morning all,
apologies for my poor english but i'm italian.
Anyways, always been ripping and deciding fine with earlier releases.
Moved on to 109b1 and real-time preview not available any longer.
hmmm...okay, no biggie.
BUT question is: when tmpeg at work, vbr, multipass, how's that there's no output file at all?
I have it ripping, starting with decoding audio and then tmpeg starts. 1 1/2 hrs later still working but no output file.
Any problem?
Apologies for the dumb question.
Thanks for your hard work, btw.

Hi need4speed,

with the TMPGEnc problem: If you're doing a 2-Pass-VBR with TMPGEnc the output window will remain totally black during the first pass that is by default - only during the second pass you will see the output - that's after TMPGEnc has reached the 50% mark. So ther's no problem at all.

With the real-time preview: I don't know exactly what the problem is - are you speaking of the "Preview video (still oicture)" feature? - If so, what happens if you hit the "New frame" button? - Nothing? Try to install the latest version 1.0.9 Build 2 and do a complete uninstall of the previous version - might help. ;)

HTH,
Gerti

tks, was about to throw the whole thing out of the window :D:D
yep, going for a 2-pass-vbr, so I guess this is the right procedure.
Window blank, and estimate time 12hrs...with a single pass and cbr takes no longer than 4 hrs in total..worth the difference??
Thanks again, will see what happens and wait until finished :D
