I'm just goofing around to see what my dvd player will play and won't play... anyone have any idea how I can mux together a .wav and Mpeg-2 video? Avi2Mpg won't take it, reads the one valid AC3 frame, then skips the rest...

So is the sound wav or ac3? (or is it so that the first part of these different formats are identical allowing avi2mpeg to read the first frame thinking it's ac3? ... in which case i apologize for my comment

Its a DTS wav, it contains one valid header identifying the stream as such so that a digital reciever will decode it (i.e. I can take this DTS .wav, burn it to CDR as an audio cd, and play it in DTS on my reciever via DVD Player), now what I am trying to do is mux this .wav together with a video file... just to see if I can get it also to be passed through to the reciever for decoding.

Would be nice but one can not mux wav with mpv to make mpg.
It would be totally against the specification of mpg
