Hi,
If you're hard core enough to actually use GordianKnot (I imagine most everyone in this forum section is), and you rip more than a few discs per week, it's my opinion that you need to try out what I've made.
Basically, it's a set of Perl scripts and programs that automate every detail of ripping and encoding, and can be customized by anyone. At its' most powerful, it can be set up to start and do everything without any user interaction. I imagine that there will be a few details you want to do by hand, so you can easily automate as much or as little as you like.
Now, what I'd really like are some people who don't mind poking around in perl scripts. You don't have to KNOW perl, just be able to open the scripts in a text editor and change some parameters around. Tell me what, in your opinion, needs to be changed around.
The process followed is basically by the Doom9 GKnot Divx5 guide.
If you're interested and have 30+ minutes over the next week to look into it, send me a PM with your email address, and I'll email the package to you (it's small).
