VCD Problem - Toshiba SD 220E

well i have a problem and got no clue what it is :

i have VCDs where you have a sound but a bad/unwatchable/flickering picture (some are burned from images, some were Direct CD Copys)


other VCDs just work fine ...

SVCDs also work fine ...

i thought it might be the BurningSpeed, so i changed that ... still the same results

then i tried other CDRs ... still
the same results

EDIT: i also tried switching between RGB and SVideo in DVD Player Setup

specs:
Toshiba SD 220E
Plexwriter 12/10/12A
Nero 5.5.7.2
CDR Win 4.08A BETA

any help/comments appreciated
