Recently I m searching on the net for a good complete (and popular) coding C++ Suite...
I have found the MinGW project (minimalist GNU Win32 port), I have red that is a good project...
Anyone know anything more or similar good kit?
My preference is also a good interfacing with ASM internal/external code, I don't need porting to linux (Cygnus releases may not fit my needs...).
THANKS !!!!
P.S.: Last time I have coded something is related to time of the glorious Watcom C++!!! :p

Wow i've used Watcom too!!! :)
I think 5-6 years ago (in this period i've programmed a lot in asm + c)
Good old times!!!
Cheers

PS not useful reply... but i've loved Watcom compiler!
try devc++. it's a complete opensource IDE for mingw32 (and cygwin, and iirc also borland), and comes with various samples, and can generate win32 code well (it even has an opengl sample among others). get it from http://www.bloodshed.net/devcpp.html . you can download it bundled with mingw if you prefere, and it also supports a visual debugger called insight (replacement for the command line gdb)
you can also try djgpp ( http://www.delorie.com ) it's also based on gnu, and the last time i used it (more than a year ago) it had a dos IDE called rhide, very similar to borland c++ 3.x (it's very nice if u like the borland dos ide style). but i think you can generate win32 apps with it as well, and you might also find windows ide for it. you'll have to check that out.
cheers

Thank you, avih.
char joystickstatus ();
#pragma aux joystickstatus=\
"mov dx,201h",\
"in al,dx" value [AL] modify [AL DX];
STRICTISSSSIMO AL MASSIMO!! :p

Salutoni!

Borland's C++ 5 compiler is free, see their website for details.
Borland C was rather popular some time ago.

There is also another GUI for C++ (and the Borland CC 5.5?) called VIDE: http://www.objectcentral.com/vide.htm
Give it a try,
D$
BTW: Borland is also very optimized AFAIK.

First, thanks for interest guys
Though I think to vote for Dev-C++ IDE that seems the most/almost accurate :D
To those interested give a look: http://www.bloodshed.net/ or
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dev-cpp/
Edit: Ah... of course this is mainly a Win32 IDE, since the rest (MinGW) is bundle, so I have to specify that my important choice is MinGW (http://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw/) as develop package ;) (GNU GCC powered)
