I have been converting Dvd's to Svcd's for almost a year...I started with Dvd2Svcd version 1.0.4....Everything has been working smoothly until lately...I always use the rip then convert option...The problem is, I get a windows XP error message everytime I get to the BeSweet program...It says that BeSweet has encountered problems and had to be stopped...Then I have a choice to send the error message or don't send...I click on the don't send and immediately It continues with its converting process...some times it will lock up and other times it will complete the besweet section...If I let it continue then another error message pops up Cinema Craft Encoder has encountered some problems and had to be stopped....Everytime I go to convert a movie I go through this...Like I said This program has been working excellent until around version 1.0.8 build 2...I have tried installing the older versions that I have had good luck with in the past, but even they encounter the same problem...whats going on here...I have a pentium 4 2.00 ghz processor...128 mb rd ramm...60 gb hard drive...45 gig available...and am using windows XP home edition...If any one can help me on this problem I would much appreciate it....thanks again.,...PIDKAM

Please do not break forum rules. This is strike 1.
9) Use a title that describes the content of your post. Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention.
Run the Prime95 torture test and memtest86 to check for hardware stability. BeSweet and CCE are real tough on hardware and even a computer that is always stable with other programs can have issues with these guys. Both are linked in the Q + A.
You might want to consider a format and fresh install of XP if the computer passes the hardware tests above.
If you plan on trying to make a bunch of SVCD's you will want to up your ram to at least 256mb.

O.K. attached is the log file...I went ahead and defragmented my computer still the same problem.... I did successfully rip the old grinch cartoon which is a 25 minute cartoon...finally SUCCESS...then the same problem occured with The 6th Day, A Few Good Men, Coyoty Ugly...I was not sure what you ment by...searching instances of mp2enc.dll,azid.dll,ssrc.dll on your computer. So looked to see if they were on my computer hard drive...yes they are right in the BeSweet folder...I looked at the partially complete movie files in my dvd2svcd movie folder and found an encoded_audio_1.mp2 file, 18mb in size...not the complete movie, an Extracted_Audio1.ac3, 405mb in size seems to be the whole movie...then I found an encoded_audio1.log and this is also attached ...I've tried to give as much information as possible here...I really want to get this program up and running again...once again I get an XP error message which stops dvd2svcd program, it says BeSweet has encountered an error and had to be stopped....Thanks for your time.....pidkam

I've noticed you already touched on this in previous versions of BeSweet...I think we should all get to the bottom of this problem...Here is the thread from the past that I was reading...

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15767&highlight=BeSweet+has+encountered+problems no, it's something else. the bug there was related to delay assertion, and you doesn't assert delay. (anyway, it was fixed).
your logfile is incomplete.
did you try to run the Prime95 torture test and memtest86 ?
