Would it be a good idea to make a Nandub-esq version of VirtualDub with a new type of Pshycovisual Enhancements, which, instead of it's DivX 5 version, adjusts the framerate according to the amount of motion and lightness/darkness in the scene?
Instead of actually adjusting the framerate, I suppose it would have to duplicate previous frames, since I don't think AVI lets you dynamically change the framerate. This should still improve compression though, right?
