SVCD wrong time and chapter problems

I use DVD2SVCD to make svcd with chapters. The problem is that I can use the >>| and |<< buttons to skip between the chapters, but not my numerical keypad. Even when I skip chapters using the >>| button, it keep saying " CHAPTER 1 " on my DVD player (although it does go to chapter 2,3,4 etc.). When I make a svcd (using nero) with 2 or more different mpeg files, then my keypad as well as >>| button works, and it shows chapter 1,2,3 on the dvd player.

The shown time on the dvd-player is also wrong, it seems that the time shown is about half of what it should be (although this doesn't influence anything).

I have tried all possible combinations of settings in the IMAGE tab, nothing seems to change.

Can anyone help?

I dont know anything about skipping chapters. I have never tried that. As far as the time display, its always going to be wrong on a software DVD player. I dont know why. Every SVCD that I have encoded is like that. On a hardware DVD player the correct time is displayed when the movie is playing.

Might depend on your player. Alledgedly, not all players will work with the "PBC using Playlist" option. Which PBC type did you choose?
The VCDImager forum might have additional information on which players support playlist items.

I tested all the PBC options. All of them seems to work the same. The time problem also exists in all of them.
