Sharp vs Normal Bicubic rezise : which is better ?

I read in some guide that I should use normal bicubic. And that I should use sharp bicubic in some others ?

What are the differences ? Is the quality better for one or other ?

Sharp is .. sharper, so more eye-pleasing, more noisy and less compressible --> more artifact at a given bitrate, or bigger size at same quality. Choose what you like best.
