View Full Version : Link2 problem with frame "preview" under CCE

Am using Link2 (v.0.942) to create the wrapper .AVI file.

Using CCE SP (2.64) frame "previewing" fails in both situations:
1) Encode settings -> AVI file settings -> Edit
2) VBR settings

Input source (*.avs) renders/plays fine:
LoadPlugin("MPEG2DEC.dll")
mpeg2source("*.d2v")

Avisynth v1.05
DVD2AVI v1.76

Original data is a VOB (PAL, 25fps, interlaced), tried exporting both RGB and YUY.

Am I missing something or is it a Link2 bug?

Don't know. But maybe Edwin is reading this ...

Have you tried VFAPI already? (You have to convert it to RGB before
importing in VFAPI :()

VFAPI works perfectly, so I assume it should be the Link2 wrapper

I am having the same preview problem too. On top of that, here's another one. I'm using avisynth 1.05, dvd2avi 1.76, cce 2.64, and Link2 .942. The Link2 was sent to me via IRC and I believe it is a fully working copy (i think somebody cr@cked it). I continued to use it to see if it is something I want to buy, if I can get this problem figured out, I will definitely buy it.

My AVISynth script is as follows:

LoadPlugin("mpeg2dec.dll")
mpeg2source("ocean.d2v")

The source VOBs are NTSC.

I wrap the avs with Link2 and it works fine, I load the wrapped avi in cce and it works fine, I make the first of three passes and it works fine, once it tries to make the second pass...it dies, hard. Even if I close cce, reboot, reopen cce, and try to make the second and third passes, it dies. If I can get this to work, I'll buy Link2 for sure. I got a small speed increase over my old method and the first pass with the wrapped method gets me about 2.000 x realtime in cce. Trust me people, this program will be worth it.

Any ideas folks?

I bet that you are using CCE SP 2.64 with the SSG crack ....
One of their cracks, as it seems they have made 2 for this very version of CCE SP.

Yea I would try to do multipass in CCE 2.50 with Link2 and verify the functionality of Link2 (with the crack).

I'll try that tonight

CCE 2.50 works just fine with Link2 in multipass where CCE 2.64 failed. Must be those guys at SSG

So did you also warn Edwin for advertising shareware?
