Nandub use of Codecs

This is a stupid question, but could nandub be used on any type of mpeg4 codec? Would it be a simple change the code to allow this? Be it Divx5(I know that alot of the settings for that are built in) xviD, or any other type of codec?

Sorry to say this, but this is qualifies for 'question that has been answered most on this forum' and you'd know if you had made the effort to look on this very forum. Do you know that you can earn yourself something called 'strikes' (like in baseball - 3 and you're out) for asking without searching for the answer yourself?

yeah, search is an amazing concept. I've already looked and there were no results that i found that answered my question.
