How do i get started with my WinTV Go?

Hi all, i'm a total newbie to VHS/TV capturing. I got a WinTV Go card today and am having a bit of trouble getting started.

Can anyone offer me any advice on how to get started please?

Also, on another note, with my new card, can i use it to output to my TV so i can watch DivX movies etc on my TV?
