Power Calibration error in Nero, Please Help!

I have recently bought 50 Princo DVD-R's and was happy when my Panasonic LDF-311 read them fine. Problem came when i went to actually use one in Nero 5.5.6.4. It starts up and fills the buffer and then stops and says: "Power Calibration Error." Is this a problem with my drive, nero, or my media? Thanx.

got that error for awhile, it turned out to be an incompatability between my drive and the media i was using. i did some experiments and found that certain serial-number batches of media wouldn't work with my drive, even though both the working and non-working ones were from the same mfg (different plants, tho)
