Ripping Simpsons DVD

I use smartripper to decrypt my dvd's and am wondering if I can rip the the entire dvd, (disc one has six episodes) or if I have to rip each episode individually. And if so, will I be able to put the MPEG files together somehow to put them onto one VCD?

First of all you can rip the entire dvd no problem. The only problem comes in how you want to access them on your vcd. Do you want seperate files, have them as seperate chapters, have them all run right after each other, etc. Second if you plan on putting all 6 episodes on one vcd you won't make it. VCD doesn't care about final filesize, it goes by time, so on a 80 min cd you will get 80 mins of video. If you want higher quality (and if your dvd player can handle it) you could go with SVCD and put 2 episodes per disc.
