Hi there,
I tried making SVCDs with I-Author as Image Creator. But when it did come to authoring VCDImager was used instead of I-Author. On the 1.08b1 release it worked...
Does anybody have a clue ?
Thanks
Christian
Christian_stuppy,
I did a quick test with version 1.0.9 tocheckit (don't pay attention to CCE settings !). Log file attached. Everything as expected.
Did you give the right path for I-Author in DVD2SVCD ?

Hi,
thanks for the reply. I just did uninstall & install Version 1.0.9 again with the same results. Very strange. Do I have to set anything manually, besides all the pathnames? I am just running a Version 1.0.8 encode with I-Author (I did a test first and it worked just fine). What files would be helpfull to post in order to solve the problem ?

Christian
You have to do exactly the same than in 1.0.8, no manual tweak. Suggestions :
. enable DVD2SVCD level to Advanced in the Misc. tab.
. Edit "dvd2svcd project file.d2s" and check if one of the latest lines is "Authoring=Enreach I-Author"
. Edit "DVD2SVCD.INI" and check if "Use I-Author=1; Use VCDImager=0; Use VCDXBuild=0"
Hope this helps. avdmb
