I've noticed this for a while now ... but for me, the CVS code doesn't seem to compile under Linux.

The compiler errors out when it gets to the file cbp_mmx.asm ... I can give more info if anyone wants it.

Is this a known issue, or is there something I'm missing, or what?

This isn't a known issue.. gruel uses linux and hasn't mentioned it. Perhaps you need a different version of nasm? See http://homepage1.nifty.com/herumi/soft.html
