The movie and extras are in the same VOB set. The movie uses VOB IDs 3 and 4, the extras uses 1 and 2. How do i seperate them to encode and reauthor in scenarist to emulate the original ifo structure?

If i do not seperate the VOB IDs i am forced to reauthor the main movie with the extras and will be forced to watch the preceding VOB IDs when try to play the main feature. I am also trying to strip streams and still accomplish this. Can someone give me pointers?

I remember answering that not too long ago.. a search might actually find it.
non matchinv vob id structures don't matter much.. simply adjust the vob and cell ID mapping in the original ifo (where it says cell xy is in vobid z...) to the one of the maestro/scenarist generated one and you should be okay.

If i dont separate them then the DVD2AVI project includes the trailers and the logos with the movie. This also means i encode everything with it. Im not just trying to make it work. I understand that i dont have to match it exactly, but if i dont, the first PGC will be the sum of all PGCs. I do not want this. That is why it is important to seperate and recreate the ifo structure. Eyes Only and Coop920 know how to do this, but i guess dont have the time to explain. If you guys still dont understand what im trying to get at ill explain it in more detail with a specific case. Once again, my question is how (in a step by step procedure) do i go about taking the individual PGCs and reauthoring it to be exact?

Strip them individually with Smartripper (*.m2v/*.ac3), then create separate titles (TTNs) and add them to the Scenario editor in Scenarist.
