View Full Version : is there any reason not to use psychovisual enhancment?

reading through some posts it seems that most people have had good success using psychovisual enhancments, sounds ideal for low bitrates. I aim for 1 cd rips most of the time so is there any reason for me not to use it? Ill encode a couple of movies tomorrow with the normal settings and see how it looks.

I haven't noticed any visual artifacts due to psycovisual processing so far, even when set to heavy and in 2-pass mode. It seems to be working properly.
