Okay, I finally got a good method down for converting extractions from my Tivo to SVCD format, except for one big problem. The audio on the Tivo is 32kHz and when I run the MPEG through DVD2SVCD I believe this is causing audio sync problems... the audio starts out okay, but progressibely gets further and further off from the video. Is there a way to force DVD2SVCD to resample the audio to 44.1kHz or something?
For reference, I'm using the PVA2SVCD portion of DVD2SVCD. Audio in the source MPEG is synced up just fine.

You may have to demux and change the rate youself and then remux and start the process normally.

Any recommendation on which program would be good to change the sampling rate? The video and audio actually start de-muxed and before I use DVD2SVCD I mux them and edit out all the commercials, I could just resample the audio if I could find a program to resample MPEG-2 audio and do that before I even mux them.

I'm also going to look into changing it so the Tivo automatically records in 44.1kHz... hacking the Tivo is fun, you can mess with almost anything ;)

Check out the audio forum for more specifics, but I think you need to convert the file to wav to be able to change the rate. You could look into CoolEdit Pro or SoundForge, but the audio guys might be better able to recomend something that is free. I think both of the one I mentioned have a demo that is time limited, but fully functional.
