View Full Version : Minor Problems with WinSubMux

Hello everybody !

I am using D2S108 Build 1 with an Athlon XP1333 CPU under Win 98 SE.

Since I read various threads about subtitles and figured out myself, that subtitles in this new version have some strange artifacts I tried to use WinSubMux instead of SubMux. While using this configuration I encounter the following problem :

While (or after) muxing subs into the mpeg2 stream, the process stops with a cute error requester. Because my computer stops completly after this I took a digital photo of it; it is attached to this thread.

Here is the logfile :

Would you recommend XP for making SVCD's

Pko

I used XP to make dozens of SVCD with no problems (well, for bbmpeg you need to press "load" and then "close" in the first screen or it will hang).

I usually make them manually, although I have used DVD2SVCD sometimes with no problems (with D2S you do not use bbmpeg directly, so no workaround is necessary).

As you can see from the screen shots, Doom9 himself uses XP, and makes the guides with that s.o., so everything is tested in XP, and it is in the OTHER versions of Windows where you can find some problems (I think you already had)
