Letterboxing of 2.11:1 video source

I coulnd't find if scenarist support 2.11:1 resolution source.
So do I have to add black bars to the source before importing the video so it would display correctly?
Please advise if other tools support 2.11:1 video input.

Yes, adding black bars to the source is the solution. As I can see it has only 16:9 support.
