How do I restrict display mode of menus to letter only?

Using scenarist of course.
Here the problem is that when i drop a menu from a Track Editor with only a letterbox on subpicture enabled, Scenario Editor wont accept the track with message:

Error Display Mode of Language English shall have at least one wide and letterbox setting.

In any case how'd I do this?
