I am new at this, so please bear with me.

I ripped Superman 2 and re-encoded it using CCE. I added the m2v file of the main movie to Scenarist, set the chapter points, etc.. Then I added the Trailer (VOB ID6) and it's appropriate ac3 file to track editor. Problem is when I try and add the trailer to a PGC_5, it errors out. It gives me the following error in the general tab:
"Number of channels are different between VOB_06 AC3 T03 1_0ch 192K(1) and movie AC3 T01 2_0ch 192Kb(2)"

I followed the guides on the site. Add files to the lower right corner, change drop type of all assests to "Drop Frame" for NTSC
Add video assests to track editor, then add appropriate audio to that video asset. Then drag assets from track editor to appropriate PGC's

Any ideas on what the problem is? I got the same error when I tried 13 Ghosts with Scenarist.

I'm fairly new to Scenarist, but realize that it wont let you do ANYTHING that is not compliant to the base dvd code standards for the said regions....by the looks of your error, it dosnt allow different combinations of seperate audio files in the same program change or track or something to that extent...it looks like it's saying that you have a mono ac3 and a stereo ac3 in the same pgc or something...wether or not most players are capable of switching that in the middle of a pgc, it sounds like it's not allowable by code. I would just decode all of your ac3's in that pgc and convert them all to stereo PCM's and then drag them back in and have it re-convert them to ac3's if that's your preferred format.
If you dont even HAVE more than that one ac3 in pgc-5, then maybe its a seperate ac3 in the same title? I'm not sure, but I've mixed seperate formats of audio in the same titles before, but not with seperate channel settings.
As for setting your video file to drop-frame, are you talking about using a ntsc movie in a Pal scenario? either way, if you re-encoded your video using the rob-shot dvd2avi->cce method, and set it to forced film, and didnt run a pulldown on it, then, correct me if I'm wrong, but that would make the video come out at 24fps, in which case you would want Non-drop frame, right? At least that's been my expierience in the matter so far as yet....
