 CAN ANYONE help me, I've looked thru all the guides and can't seem to find one that addresses my problem, I've been trying to do a backup of a movie that is >4.38GB to a dvd-r(4.7), I followed the guides, stripped all the files to my HD using DVD Decrypt, then opened INFOedit and loaded the main movie VOB file VTS_02_1.vob and followed the checks in the boxes, stripped out everything except the "Audio 1: English"(which is all I want anyway, I don't want any subtitles). After INFOedit is done, the movie is still TOO BIG to fit, How do I get it down to a smaller size? I'm a little confused on the vobID's, I selected "strip VobID's" and it gives me another menu that only has 5 ID's on it, and I've looked at them all in Voberator, they all only contain the movie only, no warning screens. So what do I do, This is an AWESOME FORUM!!![B]

OK, I'll try that, just seems a long way to go. But I guess a clown's gotta do what a Clown's gotta do.

Don't transcode is you don't have to.... If the movie is just a few megs too large just chop off some of the credits using vobsplitter... Do a search on these and other pages as to how to use it and where to download it...

The problem is, I've chopped off all I could. The Perfect St*** is the one that I'm doing, and I've dropped off all the warnings and credits. Its still like 5.9GB
