Hello,
I previously reported that a CUT and PAste operation would break the application in which it was performed (i.e IE 5.5, Word 2000 etc. in Win98SE), when DVD2SVCD was working. The aplication would simply stop to react, turn white due to lack of screen updates etc. I can only kill it by closing it forcefully via ctrl-alt-del. It was previously suggested that insufficient memory should be the cause. Well, it isn't. I am at 384 MB now and use DVD2SVCD 1.08 build 1 , and the problem still persists. Even if I set DVD to idle priority, it will crash the cut and paste application.
Unfortunately, this will render the machine pretty well useless while encoding. No serious work can be done, since the application will freeze on the first cut that is performed.
I would be very glad for any good solution
