not the best post i've ever seen, but what the hell. read the mandatory read at the top of the basic forum to see how it's done.
probably your max bitrate is set too low to fill up both discs. if you do as i suggested you can come back with relevant info and we can really get into it. ;)

1. Press the default button in the Bitrate Tab and try again.
2. It could be that the Bitrate Calculation hits the Max. Average Bitrate. That would mean that dvd2svcd had calculated a higher bitrate but, was forced to lower the bitrate to comply to the Max. Avg. bitrate in the bitrate tab.

Hello!!
but im using the defaults. only i change is the tab from 740 to 800 mb cds and from 1 to 2 cdrs.
The settings in bitrate were fo rmy encoding:
Beetween 76 and 100 mins use 2 cd size 800 2700-2010
in the first try audio was 128 kbit stereo in the second try audio was 160 kb/s join stereo .
Please help!!
the first cd ist complete full bin file wich goes on a 80 cdr. the second bin ever about 650 MB.
Is there a bug in the newest version 1.0.8 build 1 or what can i do!

C'mon, did you read #2 reason? Post the logfile here and let's see what might be the problem.

Your english is ok ;) Anyway, in a former post you said that you were using the default bitrates, but in the last post you say that you're using a bitrate of 2700, that is not the default bitrates. I suggest that you do press the default button in the bitrate tab before you start a new conversion.

Okay i will try this evening , with the defaults, iv thought that i have take the defaults, only i have changed the audio bitrate. have i after i changed the audio bitrate to 160 kb/s joint stereo, press the defaults or have i set the defaults before. i would like to change the audio on 160 kb/s join stereo to get more btrate for movie!
and in my try i have on the second cd 150 free, but i wish to get this free in bitrate to for the movie!!

Hi there,
as dvd2svcd already said - it seems your Max. avg bitrate setting seems to limit DVD2SVCD to use a higher bitrate that would be possible for this movie and your settings (audio bitrate, minutes of the movie) - so it is quite clear why your last CD isn't filled to the max.
You have to raise your Max. avg from the default of 2230 kbit/sec to perhaps 2400 kbit/sec.
How long is the movie you try to convert?

Hi derveganer,
first, hmm - you know it's not very polite to post only in German because we all learn from each other in here but there're only a few people in here that can understand German - so in the future please try to write in English at least a few lines so everybody get's an idea of the main problem and can follow this thread - might be that he has the exact same problem.
You can write in German too - but please always do a few lines in English first. ;)
Ok, back to your problem:
You can find a basic bitrate calculator in here - it's a online calculator but there's also a version you can download:
http://www.vcdhelp.com/calc.htm
You can see that for example a movie with 88 minutes and 1 audio stream with 128 kbit/sec you want to fit onto 2 80 min CD-Rs needs an average bitrate of 2332 kbit/sec - that's exactly the problem here because DVD2SVCD also calculates this average bitrate for your settings but it uses the Max. avg bitrate setting as a upper boundary that is used when the calculated bitrate is higher than this setting - so it only passes the 2230 kbit/sec to CCE and so the second CD does not get filled completely.
Greetings,
Gerti
P.S. If you have a problem with understanding the above then you can send me a PM and I will you give a translation in this special case.
