Has anyone updated to the 1.80 firmware? What is it supposed to help fix, or what are the benefits of updating from 1.65.
I am having problems with Nero 5.5.7.8. When I try to test a DVD burn it gets an error after about 1 minute and say unspecified recorder error. I cant remember if I ever got it to worked after I updated to 5.5.7.8 or not. I just tried to update to 5.5.8.0 to see if that help, but when I open it, it says nere.exe has generated errors and will be closed. Would a firmware update help this? Or what could be causing this problem. It still works fine with Prassi. Also I tried uninstalling both programs and reinstalling just Nero and I still got errors. Any ideas?
