The cards have shipped; I picked mine up today...
Because I am pretty busy with work, I will not be installing the thing until the weekend. As soon as I do, I will post an account of what I see...
I am also making xvid/aac encodes to test out-I'm excited to see what harware mpeg-4 support is all about...

Key points of interest to others.
DVD play is maxed at 480p
Doesn't play Divx 3.11 files
Max input resolution file playable is 720x576
Uses a VGA loop which will degrade quality
colors were washed out (flat looking)
panning was always a bit jerky for some
ac3 audio inteleave not adjusting properly
requires a hacked XVid dll to allow XVid to work
Only good for users with 650-733, and below mhz machines, but for 99 bucks you can buy a new cpu & probably do without it. Would have been useful here 1-2yrs ago probably.
Did I miss something? I don't own it, just reprinted it from various quotes
