Hello,

When I try to mux a Xvid+oggg and subtitle (.srt), oggmux mux the video and the audio but when I read the ogm file I have no subtitle.
What is strange is that if I look to the properties, it says that the Media player is using the subtitle filter, but no subtitles are available in the language menu.
Therefore the size of the file is exactely the same as a OGM mux done with only video and audio.

I'm using OGGmux 0.81
I have subtOGG 1.1.2.2
(OggDS 0.990 and Xvid binaries from 12/04/02 - Koepi version).
And I'm running tis under win98SE.

Does anyone experience the same ?
thanks,
David

It's a known bug under Win98. :scared:
Upgrade to Win2000/XP or wait for Tobias to fix it.

Thanks for you answer Rumata,

A known bug under W98, damned..
Well, well, I won't upgrade my PC to WinXP, because my poor 400 MHz won't really appreciate it.:scared:

@tobias
Hey, Tobias,
I'm sure you prefer coding on imporving the html tag or on the OGGds than debugging. I hope this won't be too low priority ;)

By the way, is it not possible to use subtitles obtain by DVDsub (.sub and .idx), because this method allow you to get perfect subtitle keeping all formats (italic...) compared to the subrip method.

Ciao
David

Ehh, I 've just found that there was a thread talking about conversion of Vobsub -> .srt
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17789&highlight=VobSub+srt

So, I'll try this method. Hope, I can get perfect subitles with all flags.

I now just have to solve my ogg mux with subtitles under W98
