I have managed to create 2 mpv files, each a part of the same movie. Now all i need to do is to mux them, but how do I do that?
I know how to mux together audio and video. but not when I have a 90 min audio file and two 45 min video files, usually do 45 min eps with same amount of audio and video.
I use TMPGEnc to mux usually but this has been giving me crap about so many bytes causing buffer under-run??? Whats that all about?:scared:
Any help would be great, thanx:D

I dont know what the under runs are all about, but I joined a 4 part mpeg2 the other day in tmpgenc and it totally screwed the audio sync. You might try M2-edit. I'm sure there are other programs out there 2, I just don't off hand.

I would merge the m2v using tmpgenc then mplex using bbmpeg. It sounds like your total bitrate is too high. But I can't be sure.

I don't think TMPGEnc can join *.m2v files but DV tools can (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Vobtools/dvtool024.zip). I agree with Shabubu; once joined, mux the *.m2v with the audio using bbMPEG.

Nice trick though, remane to mpg, then join. Then rename to m2v again ;)

if you are doing the video and audio seperatly then just pop the mpv and mp2 into bbmpeg and mux together (I am doing it right now) and you can split however you like also with bbmpeg
