CCE stopped after the first pass claiming the checksum had changed !!
There was no .vaf file left from another encoding session. I don't understand what happened.
I used DvdX 1.8a with videoserver and CCE 2.50 on Win 2000
and 98, CCE 2.62/2.64 simply stop about 28% saving .vaf and no
messages, could someone help me on this? Im in this "war" for some months now and tired using TempGenc.
Thanks.

in 2000, try right click the cce.exe file, and under properties, run under winnt compatibility mode

Hello,
Both CCE 2.5 and 2.62 stop in my XP Pro system, when i play with the min/avg bitrates. With the very same error you say. I haven't patched anything (yet).

Hi, I have found a patch that worked for my multipass problem.
CCE does the number of pass i order, but the result is that i get a still picture when i play the mpg after multipex, the last frame of the movie to be exactly.
So i believe the problem is DvdX, so i quit this scheme and im using
Dvd2svcd+CCE, and im very happy with the results.
My reference is Doom9 guide on is page.
If someone need the CCE patch just ask for it.
