View Full Version : CCE won't comply with max/min/avg

No matter what I put the max/min/avg as when exporting through the CCE SP trial plugin in premiere, the bitrate always dips down to 200 or 300kbps sometimes. The avg and max are never at what I specified either.

For example, I set my avg to be 6000, and it comes out to 4500. I set my avg to 7000, and it comes out to 4900.

For min, I set it to 4000, and it dips down to 2000, 1000 or 200 or whatever it feels like.

Has anyone else had this issue where CCE SP totally disobeys the bitrates?

I know that Tmpgenc has a "enable padding" to make the bitrates not go below the min, so is there such a feature for CCE? If not, how are you supposed to make the bitrates stay above the min?

There are some parts in my video where titles are encoded with 100 kbps and look very bad. How would one get past this problem?
