hi, does anyone know if this vid-in chipset is ok to use? i only know thats its used on the new gf4 boards by msi and gainward.

I believe you can but since the vid-in chipset uses WDM drivers instead of VFW drivers. Vdub doesn't really like WDM (meaning it is a pain to capture about 360 by 240.) Also I have seen the quality of gainward vid-in and it is really crappy compare to my WinTV card. I would just it any old gf4 card and buy a separate capture card.
