Very good read off Reuters, here's one line I liked just from a glimpse of the topic.

"High-tech lobbying groups have weighed in as well, arguing that mandatory copyright-protection technologies would hurt their ability to innovate, and would encourage consumers to hold on to their older computers rather than buy new models that restricted their activities."

80,000 faxes have been sent thru DigitalConsumer.org to elected representatives in the States.

This is outstanding! Bravo to all of those who have opposed this bill, and showed it by contacting their representatives in Congress.

I am one of the signers of this petition, and I urge anyone who hasn't to sign it now and email or fax their congresspersons to let them know that consumers do not want or need this bill to be passed into law.
