I have an old Cinemaster DVD decoder card, which can only send DVD player material through the video out. After playing around with some newer drivers and graphedit, I can use MPEG-2 splitter on a VOB and send the individual components to the decoder card.
It would be nice to have AVI output capabilities as well, so I'm wondering about any (realtime) compression methods that can basically wrap decoded DivX as an MPEG 1/2 file to send to the decoder. The idea being to minimize the compression as much as possible to save quality and CPU.
Thanks,
Iam
