I am looking for good DVD online rentel stores. What I could find is w*w.netflix.com . Somehow US$20/mo is not cheap to me. Besides, I can rent only 1 DVD at a time. Anything better than this 1? Please advise. Thanks.

netflix is cheap since i get around 7 dvd a week, it's about 70 cents a dvd, instead of $2 at the store, and you are suppose to rent 3 at a time for $20/mo. not 1

@dani28
7 a week! you must be in Cali. On the east coast I average 3 a week on the 3/$20 plan. That works out to 12-15 a month for $20.
www.rentmydvd.com is the second largest DVD-by-mail rental service, next to Netflix. For some comments on both of these services checkout this tread (http://rilanparty.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8407). Netflix is expanding it's distribution centers to outside of Cali, which was rentmydvd's major advantage. Also, with rentmydvd you can rent one movie at a time (for like $4), without having to subscribe to a monthy membership.

Hi,
I use Netflix, and I get around 6 a week (Yes I am in California).
However, they have opened up an East Coast distributor too....

Let me just give some feedback on the east coast distro center, at least the one in Worchester.
I haven't gotten many titles shipped from it, out of the 20 or so movies I have gotten since the center came online only two have been sent from it. So most of my movies still have a 3 day trip from cali, but since all my movies are returned to the east coast center they only have a 2 day return trip.
So while it's nice to have a east coast center, it's still not as sweet as being on the west coast. Hopefully, as Netflix expands in the east more titles will come from the east coast center.
