Does anybody know a simple program to cut/join wav-files? No need for high-end solutions!

In the c|net download archive (http://download.cnet.com) you can search for freeware or shareware audio editors. Another good resource may be the NoNags free audio editor page (http://www.nonags.com/nonags/auedit.html).

Maybe even the windows internal sound editor SNDREC32 might work for you (except for very long audio files - it loads everything into memory!)

As simple yet quite powerful solution, I'd suggest e.g. GoldWave.
