AVI2SVCD aspect help

Whenever i use avi2svcd, i cant get the aspect ratio to stay how i want it. when i load an avi, it changes it. whenever i change to another tab, it changes to 4:3. here is a picture of the conversion screen (http://members.cox.net/files1/help.JPG).
for example: if i click on the "misc." tab, then back to the "conversion" tab, it is 4:3. im using version 1.0.7.4

Flipping between tabs seem to change stuff, so don't flip.

Another way is to check the "edit the avisynth script" (or something to that effect) check box and change the resize/addborders yourself. It's relly not that hard.
