Hello,
I am trying to encode a DVD which holds two episodes (each 31 minutes containing each three or four even smaller cartoons). They are shown as seperate episodes in the "movie length tab" of "conversion". Conversion of one Episode per disc works fine but I would like to have both on one disk.
I thought about setting the CD size to 460 MB and do two runs, taking the resulting mpgs and completing it with VCDEasy. I would hope to even incorporate proper chapters for the entire SVCD this way. I would grap the titelpicture mpg that dvd2svcd created and stick it in too. Does this aproach sound reasonable?
Is there a better way?
My search yielded the suggestion of stuffing one ifo and all vobs (renamed in ascending order) into one folder, then piping from there. THis was in the context of two DVDs to one SVCD but it sounds aplicable here too. I wonder if there is an easier way which will preserve the chapters of the sub-episodes which are seperate cartoons?
I also found a statement of intention to update the FAQ for this very question but didn't find this in it.
thanks for advice or an article on this, kinda hard to word a search for this...

Added Later: Perhaps I only have one IFO on that DVD. I only open one IFO and can choose between the two episodes... Hope this reduces the irritations about the DVD
