hehe, i don't like to talk much about it before it's done :)
Generally, LittleWing (http://sourceforge.net/projects/littlewing) is a "father" project of set of DirectShow Filters.
first tool i'm working on, these days, is LittleWing Decoder.
whenever the whole set of filters is out, you could :
- Transcode to vorbis WHILE muxing the video&subtitle to ogg.
(meaning there isn't anY intermediate file for audio : not vob, not ac3, not wav, not even ogg!!)
- easily play a 48khz 6CHvorbis on an old 44.1khz stereo soundcard
all LittleWing projects would be open-source, and eventually, this set of tools will make the ripping process a much more easier task.
Stay Tuned :)
How do you come up with the names to your projects? ;)

Shame on me :( .. you should be aware of LittleWin already, but its weekend and the samples for Monty take all my free time available ... strange, once you're a family man you cant invest same time into interesting stuff over weekends because the family grabs you :D ..
