at my high school every bad site and hotmail is blocked. does anyone know how to get pass this.

Bypassing this for "every bad site"...Uh, why would you want to? In school?

How about using the computers for what they're intended to do?

maybe i shouldn't say bad site because that's not what i meant. what i meant was sites with games and softwares to download. they even blocked doom9. thatz y i'm pissed.

in my high school students weren't allowed to use the internet, just teachers (5 years ago). blocking doom9 seems like "no valid reason" to me. Analogous to the DCMA seeming like "no valid reason" for you, thus you're using the site.

(although you may be in a country where "fair use" is legal, blah, blah, you can surely still see the relation)

...unless u're going to tell me you only rip non-CSS encrypted discs. :p
