DivX 5 GAIN pro Codec or Bundle

Hello, I have these two version. Just the Codec installer by itself and the bundle installer and was wondering what the difference was and if I need to use the GAIN firewall workaround for both?

The difference is that the one version has no DivX Player bundeld and the other version has a DivX Player bundeld, it's as simple as that!
And if you ask me, you don't need that DivX Player, because it's a piece of shit. You better use a good player like BSPlayer.

You don't need a firewall to overcome the gain program.
Just run "msconfig" and in the last tab, deactivate "Trickler" and restart your computer, that's it.

Thanks for the answer. I am running Win2k so don't have "msconfig" or do I run it some other way?

EDIT: I've download the msconfig from XP which works in 2k.
