i heard there would be a way to add a VCD-Header to a SVCD-CD so the VCD-Player would think it is a VCD and play it even if it isn't natively capable to do so. Is that right ?

don't think so, vcd and svcd do not only differ in the mpeg header.
vcd is mpeg1, svcd is mpeg2. the are also differences in the disc structure..

you could try encoding your material in MPEG1-VBR with SVCD-resolution and mux that as non-standard VCD, thus getting more or less the same quality as an SVCD.
You would have to burn that as a non-standard (S?)VCD in Nero.
Remember though, that in case your player only has an 1x CD-ROM drive you're stuck to bitrates up to 1374 KBits/s, rendering the higher resolution useless.
In case your player doesn't support SVCD-resolution you could still try to play around with VBR and with higher max. bitrates, but that depends on your player...
