Ok, I'm embarassed and kind of pissed. I have to ask you this. How the ¤%&/¤&% is the installation of this proggie done?
I've spent too much time reading about bundles and upgrades allready and how important it is to install upgrades AFTER the bundle (duh!), but not a single word about how to get that exe-file installed. All guides say the same: "install, then hit go and ... bla bla". So don't you dare direct me to the guides.
Nobody seems to have a problem with this ... except me. This is why I'm embarassed ... and pissed. Trust me it took quite some nerve to come out like this and I was actually seriously thinking of creating a new account for me to ask this question ... some sort of stupid intellectual vanity I guess.
This is what I got:
d2s107b1.exe
D2S107B4-Update.exe
What do I do?

although you seem well versed, you haven't mentioned your problem yet. What happens if you execute d2s107b1.exe? Did you know you have to install a video encoder seperately (TMPG and/or CCE)?

That was quick :)
double-clicking it I get the message that it's not a valid win32 program. Both in XP and win98. Allthough I've download it twice (once per computer) it's still from the same (doom9) location. You think it's dammaged?

Oh, and your second question. Yes, the guides state the necessity for getting either of these commercial apps seperatly over and over again. Either way the encoders shouldn't be prerequisites for installing dvd2svcd, should they?

Well, kinda answered that one myself. NOW there's a nice installer icon (and wizard) for BOTH the bundle and the update.
All I had to do was to download from some other place. I'm very grateful for the existance of this site, but this time I wasted a lot of hours.
I think "someone" should double check to see if the d2s107b1.exe off doom9's site indeed is complete and repair or remove if not.

AS it turns out, and I have reported this allready, the version on doom's site is incomplete. A few kB's smaller than the one I got from your homepage (http://212.88.77.140/).
When you say checked it. Do you mean you've actually downloaded from this place and run the install? Just now?
If such is the case I'm very confused cause I tried from three different computers both via the DVD2SVCD guide link and also via the software section (both on this site though)

People that made it this far in the thread must think I'm insane talking about non-problems and with ghosts for that matter. But I assure you that I had DVD2SVDC on the line just now where he said everything was fine according to him and all other users, but he must have edited himself out or something.
I'm done now. I got the proggie. It works, and I'm gonna use it. See you soon on the advanced forum :sly:
Ka' du ha' det, DVD2SVDC :)

Yeah, the reason I thought it worked was because I downloaded it from my homepage (www.notrace.dk) and there it worked, and I remembered that Doom9 had linked to the same mirrors as I, but, to be on the safe side I checked Doom9's page and I saw that he was linking to another place, therefor I deleted the post again.

Ok, so can you confirm what I say ?

Yes, I can confirm that the one Doom9 has on his download page is incomplete/not working.
