Anyone had a problem making a backup copy of this film?
I have already done several rips but this one has me totally bemused, the full film and extras will easliy fit on a DVD, so i use DVD-Decrypter......and then create an image with ifo-edit, film plays great on Power DVD.......but on my standalone it gets stuck on the Warning screen?.........i have no idea why this happens?
Also anyone tried Starwars Phantom mence, after i Rempeg2 the film it has this awful pulstating on the screen makes it totally unwatchable........i tried turning the bitrate down lower on rempeg but still the same.......hmmmmm
Anyone any ideas?

For what it's worth, I made a backup of the R1 disc by removing the fullscreen version and leaving the minimal extras which were on side 1 in place. All works OK.
I am guessing by you stating this; "the full film and extras will easliy fit on a DVD", you may be trying a R2 version though?

Having thought about it, so long as the R2 (guess) disc is less than 4.3gb, then if you ripped the whole disc to a folder VIDEO_TS, and just did a straight burn of that folder and contents to DVD-R (without messing around with it or creating images) it shoud be fine... Did you try this?

Have you changed your brand of DVD-R’s? I’ve experienced jumps, freezes and glitches using cheap media and after burning to an Apple or Pioneer DVD-R it played perfectly. Especially if it plays fine from your hard drive on a software player and your confidant that your burning program is working correctly. Tip – don’t use your computer at all when you’re burning to the DVD-R.

(hmmm do u mean i dont have to make an image using ifo-edit to burn to disc?....just copy the files from my hard-drive?....if so......... i use instant CD+DVD...just click the data and burn?)
i just dont get it?......regarding new discs i always burn to a rewritable, one that i have always used, and has worked, but this time i burnt to an expensive Pioneer -R after i had problems but still the same problem!.....like i say the disc starts in my standalone, get to the warning then stops, it has once gone to the menu screen.........but never anyfuther...weird.
Thanks for your replies guys

Yes, if the disc itself is less than 4.3gb, then just rip the files and burn them to a DVDR. Do not touch them in any way, do not create an image, just copy the files straight accross to the blank disc and all should be fine.
What region Jeepers are you trying to copy anyway?
Also, in your last post you note about the disc stopping on the Warning screen; is this the copy or the original disc? Does the original disc play perfectly OK in your stand alone? I ask because there are known incompatibility problems with Jeepers Creepers freezing up in some DVD players. I think it was the Region 1 edition, so whether it occurs with Region 2 (assuming that's what you're trying to copy) I don't know...

ok thanks for that info......its seems reading posts that info edit may cause a problem........even though i have burned discs before with no problem..........but i will try and see if it will do a straight copy..........region 2 and my orignal disc plays fine.
