Converting 16/9 widescreen into 1.85/1

hi guys, im a little confused. Im currently getting some very good results with Dvd2svcd,PAL 5 pass cce, bicubic resize,avisynth 0.00/0.60/temporal 3/1.
On 99 mins cd, cd length set 990mb x2, which get burned sucessfully on my liteon 24X.
Now i do not have a a widescren t.v, so is there a way to make the finished picture anormorphic? am i right in that saying 1.85/1.
Am i correct in saying that widesreen is 2.35/1.

P.S. And also I don't get the exact meaning of what you really want to do.

- converting 2.35:1 anamorphic DVD to 1.85:1 SVCD?
- converting 2.35:1 anamorphic DVD to 1.85:1 anamorphic SVCD although you just have a 4:3 TV?
- ?

P.P.S. Perhaps you should read about anamorphic/widescreen so you can post your question more precisely - look here for example or use the search button of the forum with "anamorphic"
