I need some recommendations for MP3 encoding with Lame. I need to know what programs/settings i have to use when i want to encode a VBR MP3 160kbps or 128kpbs at smallest filesize possible, because i encode divx3.11 movies with nandub. I now have The Fast and the Furious for example and i want to get it on 1CD, good lookin of course and the MP3 is 97mb big when i encode it with Razorlame ABR. But i want to have VBR. So i tried to encode with Azidlame GUI but i am not sure about the Quality and min/max bitrate parameters to enter.

ABR is better than VBR at the bitrates you are talking about. Stick with --alt-preset 128

HeadHunter is correct regarding MP3.
Why not use Vorbis VBR though? I think you'll find it a much better choice all around:)
