Hi, i would like to suggest to doom9 to put a permanent link on the top of his page for COMPLETE newbies to dvd backup. That would contain the basic guides-resources of dvd ripping in a friendly way. Do you agree with my idea? wouldn't it be nice to say to our newbies friends, "go to www.doom9.org and look at the top of the page".

I find that just about all of Doom9s guides are fairly straight forward and accessible to everyone. Make no mistake, Ripping/encoding is no piece of cake, if people aren't willing to read through and try to comprehend the existing guides then those aren't cut out to be encoders.

This is something that consumes many hours of work and requires some additional research. If you don't want to put up that kind of effort then you can always Flask your stuff...and the quality will reflect the time put into it.
